Rott/Hound Mix

Dallas came to our rescue pregnant!

She had a beautiful litter or 11 puppies who are all thriving and have found their forever homes!

After she gave everything she had as a mother, Dallas developed mastitis and had to undergo invasive surgery to save her life.

She made a miraculous recovery and has since spent time healing up and being loved on by her amazing foster family.

She is finally ready to find a forever family of her own!

Once you meet Dallas you will fall in love with her super sweet personality. She is outgoing and loves meeting new people and dogs (although she can be a little over rambunctious at first). She loves attention and having her belly rubbed (a lot). Shes always by the side of someone in her foster family. She loves her squeaky toys and chewing on bones. Shes had supervised visits with her foster familys guinea pigs and likes to visit their cage periodically to say hello.

Shes a smart cookie. She is completely house broken and is even learning to ring bells to let her foster family know when she needs to go out. She also sits nicely when she is getting a treat. She tolerates her crate but gets very lonely. It would be great if she were to find another family with a dog to keep her company.

Dallas loves going for walks and would love a fenced in backyard to be able to run around in. She loves to ride in the car and watches calmly out the window or lays down. She prefers to sleep in the same room as her foster family and sleeps through the night and does so without any issues. When in new places/spaces she can get a little spooked, but with patience and encouragement she warms up fairly quickly.

Dallas will make a fantastic dog for a family!
